Please join the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association for a discussion on ethics and professionalism on April 6th from 3 to 5 pm. The Annual Judge Alvin B. Rubin Symposium is a living memorial to Judge Rubin’s contribution to federal jurisprudence and legal scholarship. We are thrilled to celebrate
the 25th anniversary of this program. This year’s featured speakers include the Hon. Martin Feldman, Michael Rubin, David Rubin, and Keith Jarrett.
- The Hon. Martin Feldman will explore Judge Rubin’s influence as a scholar, lawyer, and jurist.
- The Judge’s sons, Mike and David, will reminisce about the Judge both before and after he ascended to the bench, as well as his interests in teaching, literature, philosophy, and legal history mixed with his deep appreciation of Gilbert & Sullivan, the songs of the Broadway theater, and a love of humor.
- Keith Jarrett will discuss a lawyer’s ethical duty in negotiation.
