A Lawyers who Lunch event is scheduled at the Old US Mint on February 22, 2018 at 12 noon. Continuing the tradition of FBA members meeting over lunch to hear about local, non-legal subjects, it will focus on Prospect New Orleans, a citywide triennial of contemporary art presenting the work of diverse local, national, and international artists in unique and culturally exceptional venues, and engaging with residents and visitors through education and arts programming.
The group will meet at the Old US Mint, a Prospect 4 venue. John d’Addario, art writer and educator, will lead the tour of the P4 exhibit featuring several musically-inspired artworks, including an extensive set of original collages made by jazz legend Louis Armstrong and video and sound installations. Chris Alfieri, Past FBA president and current Prospect New Orleans President and Board Chair, will follow the tour with an informal talk over lunch about the Prospect 4 exhibition and the organization’s history. Boxed lunches will be served from Between the Bread. Register for the event.
