Mission: To further the mission of the Chapter and the Federal Bar Association, namely to strengthen the federal legal system and administration of justice by serving the interests and the needs of the federal practitioner, both public and private, the federal judiciary, and the public they serve. Practice Area and Special Interest Committees (“Committee”) will be comprised of Chapter members. The President shall appoint Committee Chairs, who shall be Chapter members who do not currently sit on the Board of Directors of the Chapter. The President may also appoint to each Committee a Younger Lawyers Division liaison, who shall be Chapter and Younger Lawyers Division members who do not currently sit on the Board of Directors of the Younger Lawyers Division of the Chapter. Committees will provide benefits, programs, and services to its members that promote members’ professional growth. These may include substantive programming, networking events, liaising with corresponding National Federal Bar Association sections, volunteer opportunities, and authoring articles or website material.
