GOOD Guys- Louisiana Edition

GOOD Guys Louisiana Edition- GOOD stands for Guys Overcoming Obstacles to Diversity. The National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations and the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association are co-sponsoring the upcoming program on February 2, 2023 from 1-3pm in Judge Lemelle’s Courtroom in the Eastern District of Louisiana.

The program, Good Guys – Louisiana Edition focuses on the efforts of and need for male champions of diversity across the legal field. The program features a presentation and panel consisting of Chief Justice Weimer, District Judge Lemelle, Mr. Marcus Brown of Entergy Corp, and David Bienvenu, past LSBA President. Because this program is presented by men and for men, please spread the word, RSVP, and bring a male colleague – or several! All are welcome and encouraged to attend. The panel discussion will follow a short presentation by another local attorney, Pamela Carter (Managing Partner of the New Orleans Office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood, & Boyer, P.A.), on the importance of DEI & the path to where we are today.

Information and free registration for this event available here: www.bit.ly/GOODGuysNOLA.

*GOOD Guys has grown from the initial event held at National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations’ Mid-Year Meeting in San Diego in February 2016 — led by Teresa Beck and Misty Blair, with committee members Celia Collins, Pat Sturdevant, Amanda Green Alexander, and Katherine Brown — to a separate committee dedicated to rolling out the program at events across the country.
